Down With Webster
Super-Spike is ecstatic to welcome Down With Webster as this years event headliner. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of their breakhtrough album "Time To Win vol. 1," the band are reuniting for a limited number of shows in the summer of 2024, with Super-Spike hosting one of those highly anticipated stops. This will be Down With Webster's first live show in Manitoba in over 10 years!
From their first performance at a junior high talent show, Down With Webster created their own style of genre-bending sounds, and have been blowing away audiences ever since. Their songs have charted at Top 40 radio, sold millions of singles, and amassed hundres of millions of streams; while providing electrifying performances at the MMVA's, Junos, and festivals across the country. The band's tireless pursuit of creating the greatest party on stage has won them a rabid fan base coast to coast.
Neighbour Andy
The quintent from Winnipeg, is a young and fresh indie band by traditional artistic standards, but listen to their music and you'll find yourself grasping at a sense of familiarity - their melodies and charismatic signature vocals capture a comfort once thought only to be achieved by bands that stand the test of time.
They released their debut self-titled EP in 2022, selling out their 500-cap release show at Winnipeg's Park Theatre and have continued an impressive run of sold out performances in venues across Canada and have been a featured performer at festivals like Toronto's NXNE, Festival du Voyageur's Main Stage, and on CBC Radio. Neighbour Andy's fall 2023 debut, Wild One, has garnered the attention of audiences both locally and beyond, having amassed hundres of thousands of streams and counting.
Always Dale Groove Garden
Always Dale has shaken up the night-life scene putting on one-of-a-kind productions for the last four years. Even expanding beyond Winnipeg to put on their own showcases in Toronto and Chicago. They've been able to stand out through their dedication to creating elaborate themes that appeal to a wide audience. Along with hosting over 50 of their own shows, they've partnered with some of central Canada's biggest festivals to bring their Groove Garden production to life including Festival du Voyaguer, Winnipeg Pride, Summer of Sound, and of course Super-Spike!
Men in Kilts
Since 1999, the Winnipeg-based band Men In Kilts, has been fusing the traditional sounds of the fiddle and the highland bag pipes with the electric guitar, bass, and drums, to create a sound that is uniqueley their own. Although it might seem unconventional to play traditional Scottish, French and Irish songs at a punk rock tempo, the sweat, smiles, and screams of the Men in Kilts audiences leave no doubt that the blended style works like a luck charm!
The JD Edwards Band
The JD Edwards Band, a dynamic seven-piece rock sensation hailing from Winnipeg, has been a prominent force in the music scene for over a decade. With their electrifying performances and infectious energy, they've captivated audiences nationwide. Renowned for their signature blend of rock, blues and soul, the band has released multiple critically acclaimed albumbs, building a devoted fan base.
Daniel Desorcy
Daniel Desorcy is one of Manitoba's brightest rising stars in the Country music scene. His soulful tenor voice and energetic performances have guided him to big shows such as Dauphins Countryfest, opening for the Reklaws, Hunter Brothers, Aaron Goodvin and Doc Walker. He also performed at the Burt Block Party in 2023 where he shared the stage with Petric, James Barker Band and Brett Kissel. A multilple award winner and nominee, Daniel was named the MCMA emerging artist of the year in 2022, and has been noinated for awards ever year since.
The Dust Rhinos
From basement pubs to festival stages the Dust Rhinos have been bringing their particular brand of punk flavoured Irish trad to venues large, small, and otherwise since 1992. Blossoming from a trio of buskers to a 5-piece Celtic rock juggernaut, the Rhinos have tread the boards with acts as varied as The Dropkick Murphys, Gaelic Storm, Alabama, Leahy, the Barra MacNeils, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Whether a house concert, pub night, or festival (Dauphin Countryfest, Festival du Voyageur, Winnipeg Folk Festival, the Grey Cup Festival, Super-Spike and counting!) the Rhinos’ controlled chaos will get people out of their seats, on the dance floor, and clamouring for One...More... Song!
Red Bull Beach Party featuring Always Dale
This years legendary event ending Red Bull Beach Party will be hosted by Always Dale featuring 'The Pulse'. They're going to be bringing an incredible vibe, curating a high energy set to lose yourself on the beach and under the stars. Be prepared to dance the night away!
UpCycle
Based North of the 49th Paralell, John Skene, also known as Upcycle, is an electronic DJ and music producer with a style that is described as pseudo-nostalgic. Seamlessley upcylcing, motifs and sounds from previous eras into his music, creating his Deja vu inducing sound. Upcycle has been involved in the dance music scene for decades, under various alias such as Skene & DJ Hollywood Hype, honing his craft and creating a unique sonic elixirs from his experiences. Whether behind the decks, on the dancefllor or relasing to a streaming platform near you, Upcycle is a perpetural figure in the dance music scene!
